No blade LASIK surgery is noted for reducing the instances of infection at the surgery site in many patients who undergo the procedure. Infections are prevented by using lasers to create a precision-cut corneal flap that doesn't have jagged edges through which foreign bodies and bacteria can enter. Should you experience some degree of blurry vision after undergoing no blade LASIK, try not to worry. This is most likely the byproduct of corneal edema, which causes increased swelling in the cornea and can lead to blurred vision. In the vast majority of patients, this side effect diminishes within a few days. You may also experience some degree of photosensitivity. This will also decrease during the healing process, which can take up to six months.
