Dr. Christian is quite active in ophthalmic research and has authored several scientific papers as well as a book chapter which have been published in prominent ophthalmology journals. He is a member of numerous professional organizations including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the International Society of Refractive Surgery, and the American Medical Association.

Dr. Christian performs all aspects of refractive surgery (LASIK, Epi-LASIK, PRK), advanced cataract surgery with implantation of multi-focal intraocular lenses (IOLs), refractive lens exchange, phakic IOLs, as well as a variety of other anterior segment surgeries and medical laser procedures.
